Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Winters, 70, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 2, 2008 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home with Rev. Waymond Warren and Rev. George Bonner officiating. Interment will follow at Reagan Cemetery in Baskin, LA.
Mrs. Winters passed away on April 29, 2008. Martha was a member of Fairpark Baptist Church and the Hope Sunday School class. She loved flowers and spending time with her family. Martha was a faithful and loving wife and a fantastic mother to her two children. Mrs. Winters was committed to her husband during his FAA career and raised three grandchildren and one great grandchild while their mothers pursued their careers. She is preceded in death by her parents, Judson and Martha A. Ellerbe; one brother, J. C. Ellerbe; and one sister, Nellie Mae Cruse.
Martha is survived by her husband of forty-six years, John C. Winters, Jr.; two children, Nancy Fletcher and husband Bobby and Bryan Winters and wife Kim; four grandchildren, Keith Jeselink, II. and wife Denise, Devin Kyle Jeselink and fiancé Jordan Bass, Justin Corey Winters, and Jessica Brooke Winters; one great granddaughter, Amanda Faith Jeselink; one sister, Mary F. Coughran; two nieces and two nephews, and two great nephews.
Pallbearers will be Keith Jeselink, II., Devin Jeselink, Dustin Smith, Arthur Pasqual, Bobby Feetoher, and Dennis Walker.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, May 1, 2008 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.
