Martha Lois Wainwright

Graveside service for Mrs. Martha Lois Wainwright, 97, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, December 27, 2020, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Clifton Spikes officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.

Mrs. Wainwright worked and retired from the Department of Motor Vehicles. She was a great cook and loved to send cards to everyone for every occasion. Her past times were reading her Bible and watching Christian television. Mrs. Wainwright was preceded in death by her brother, Billy McBride; and her sister, Betty Crawford.

Survivors include her son, James C. “Jim” Wainwright, Jr.; grandchildren, James C. Wainwright, III and wife Tess, Lisa Wainwright Belgard and husband Scott, and Michelle Wainwright Spikes and husband Cliff; great grandchildren, Lauren Belgard Head and husband Micah, Hilary Spikes Peace and husband Matt, Caitlyn Spikes, Sydney Spikes, Kristina Wainwright and fiancé Travis Larson, Nathan Belgard, Conner Spikes, and Ty Wainwright; two great-great grandchildren, Michael James Larson and Eleanor Head.

Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
