Funeral services for Marvin Hogan, 80, of Monroe, will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at First Baptist Church of Sterlington with Rev. Ben Hackler and Rev. J.E. Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.Mr. Hogan died Friday, March 13, 2015, at his residence. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sterlington. Mr. Hogan was an exterminator in Monroe for over 50 years. He will be remembered for the love and devotion he had for his family.Mr. Hogan was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Hogan; parents, A.E. Hogan and Laura Belle Hogan; two sisters, Jeannie Hathaway and Wanda Warren; and one brother, DeLee Hogan.Survivors include his daughters, Peggy Creel and husband Shelby, Penny Bennett and husband Bruce; son, Paul Hogan and wife Lisa; granddaughter, Jessica LaPrade; grandson, Tyler Creel; grandson-in-law, Ross LaPrade; great-grandson, Greyson LaPrade; two sisters, Faye Winegeart and Janice Yossett; two brothers, Robert Hogan and Roger Hogan; as well as a host of extended family and friends.Pallbearers will be Vyron Hodnett, Waymon Smith, Robert Saterfield, Bill Richard, Mike Butler, Jim Butler, and Henry ButlerVisitation will be 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, March 16, 2015, at the church.Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Sterlington.Online Registry/Condolences: www.mulhearnfuneralhome.comMulhearn Funeral HomeSterlington RoadMonroe, LA
