Funeral service for Mary Alice Evans, 48, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, April 2, 2010, at New Light Baptist Church with Rev. Lindle Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at New Light Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Ms. Evans passed away Monday, March 29, 2010, at LSU Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert F. Evans, Sr. and Fannie Norris Evans; and daughters, Jennifer Rene Evans and Benita Menae Evans.
Survivors include her brothers, Charles E. Evans, Robert Evans, Jr., and Mark Evans, all of Monroe, LA; and sisters, Martha Scarborough and husband Ralph of Mobile, AL, and Margie White and husband Tommy from Salem, AL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Rawls, Dan Stovall, Darren Guess, David Flemming, Hank Jones, and Michael Flemming.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at New Light Baptist Church.
