Private Family Services for Mrs. Mary Alice Wood, 89, of West Monroe, LA, will be held Monday, April 13, 2020. Interment will be in Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Wood was born August 22, 1930 and passed away April 11, 2020. She was a member of First Baptist Church in West Monroe. She enjoyed traveling and she loved to bake and was famous for her bread and her popcorn balls.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Wood; children, Rita Savanna, Mike Wood and Gary Wood; grandchildren, Scott Savanna, Jennifer Savanna, Jacob Wood, Jordan Wood and Samantha Piercy; and four great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
