Memorial Services for Mrs. Mary Catherine Howse, 57, of Monroe, LA, will be held at a later date, at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Howse was born September 25, 1962, to Mr. William Edward and Mrs. Betty Louise Carroll and passed away March 25, 2020, at her home in Monroe, LA.

“Cathi” was known for her many talents. They included elaborate cake and cookie decorating, designing complete wedding décor, award winning arts and crafts, and a Halloween set up that drew in hundreds of visitors. She was loved and will be missed by many.

Mrs. Howse was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Louise Echols Carroll; and grandmothers, Betty Echols, Bertha Carroll; and uncle, Donnie Echols.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Neil Howse; father, William Edward (Bill) Carroll; sister, Jenny Slack and husband Todd; brother, Edward Carroll and wife Frannie; uncles, Bill Echols and wife Linda, and Pete Carroll; aunts, Mary Alice Echols, and Winnie Cole; sons, Michael McCallum and wife Amanda, and Ian Howse; grandchildren, Mattie, Marlie, and Macie; father-in-law, Charles E. Howse; mother-in-law, Dorothy F. Howse; brother-in-law, Robert S. Howse; sister-in-law, Heather Howse; and nephews, Charles C. Howse and Tanner D. Howse.
