Private family graveside services for Mrs. Mary Ruth Williams, 88, of Monroe, LA, will be held Thursday, April 16, 2020, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA with Pastor Timothy Parker officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road.

Mrs. Williams was born August 30, 1931, in Winnsboro, LA and passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020, in Monroe, LA. Mary was a Christian and loved GOD. She was a homemaker, and her life and interests revolved completely around her children, her grandchildren, her church family, and her friends. She was the heartbeat of our family, and she truly had a big heart for all of us. We will always love her and keep our memories of her alive. We will miss her greatly.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by parents, William Corbett and Annie Laura Monnin; and siblings, Ervin Monnin, Tennie Davis, William (Dub) Monnin Jr., Edward Monnin, and Orville Monnin.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Clinton H. Williams of West Monroe, LA; seven children, Danny Stewart of Florida, Ricky Stewart of Monroe, Wanda Vallery of West Monroe, Patricia Jackson of Monroe, Daniel Stewart of New York, Lisa Grannan of Mississippi, and Tafta Sauseda of West Monroe; and three siblings, Mody Gray of Winnsboro, James Monnin of Winnsboro, and Marilyn Davis of West Monroe. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
