Funeral services for May Bell LaDart, 84, of Euless, TX, formerly of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 22, 2010 at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Msgr. Edmund Moore officiating. Interment will follow at St. Matthew Catholic Church Cemetery.


 
Mrs. LaDart passed away Monday, January 18, 2010. She was born on July 5, 1925 in Darbonne, LA to J.W. Silmon and Lillie Mae (Long) Silmon. She was a lifelong resident of Euless, TX, a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Euless and retired from Fifth Avenue Dinette, after many years of service in their sales department. Mrs. Ladart was a wonderful seamstress and an avid Dallas Cowboy fan.


 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Joseph LaDart; son, R.J. LaDart.


 
Survivors include her son, C. Wayne Nolan and wife Carolyn of Lewisville, TX; daughter, Gin Heflin and husband Bernard of Monroe, LA; three granddaughters, Kim Nolan Alcala and husband Raul of Euless, TX, Lori Bell and husband Brian of Tyler, TX, and Robyn Howell and husband Paul of Whitehouse, TX; four great grandchildren, Josh Nolan, Brandon Bell, Lauren Bell, and Matthew Howell; one brother, Doyle Silmon of Farmerville, LA; and numerous nieces and one nephew.


 
Pallbearers will be Raul Alcala, Brian Bell, Paul Howell, Kenneth Hebert, Josh Nolan, and Kenny McDonald.


 
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday, January 21, 2010 and a Vigil Wake at 6:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
