Funeral services for Michael Vincent Prichard, 18, of Monroe, will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Rev. Sebastian Kallarackal officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Michael passed away Saturday, June 23, 2007. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Neville High School, and Louisiana National Guard Youth Challenge Program.
Survivors include his mother, Jo Lynn Jabbia Prichard; father, Paul Michael Prichard; sister, Jenny Lynn Prichard; paternal grandmother, Catherine Prichard; maternal grandmother, Laura Jabbia; maternal grandfather, Tony Jabbia; step sisters, Nikki Strickland, Payton Prichard, and Melissa Ledford; two uncles, Charles Jabbia and wife Elaine, and Vincent Jabbia and wife Kate; aunts, Janet Jabbia, Jane Colon and husband Rick, and Shelley Burguieres and husband Rick; and cousins, Amy and Allison Jabbia, Lauren Jabbia, Spencer Jabbia, Kathleen Jabbia, Vincent Jabbia, Connor Colon, Sarah Burguieres, and Charlie Burguieres.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
Michael Vincent Prichard “M.V.P.-The Most Valuable Player” on the field and in our lives. Michael was an unbelievable athlete – we called him the Triple Threat (football, baseball, and basketball). He loved to hunt, and had begun to play a lot of golf recently. Michael was a ladies’ man. He could always make you laugh and he was loved by so many. He has so many friends who love him so dearly. Michael was extremely intelligent. Most importantly, he loved with all his heart and he was a fighter. He was a kind, genuine, and loving person, and he always protected those he loved.
Michael, you will live on in our hearts forever until the day that God calls us home to be with you for all eternity.
