Elizabeth Ann “Liz” RobertsFuneral services for Elizabeth Ann “Liz” Roberts, 82, of Fairbanks, will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 23, 2016, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Rd. Monroe, LA with Rev. Stewart Bedillion officiating. Interment will follow at Lynn Cemetery, Archibald, LA.Ms. Roberts was born on May 26, 1934 in Alto, LA. She died Monday, June 20, 2016 at Savanna Grand Cottage. Ms. Roberts retired from teaching 4th grade at Jack Hayes Elementary. She was a member of Swartz First Baptist Church.Ms. Roberts was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Sarah Roberts; and one brother Walter “Skeeter-” Roberts.Survivors include her brother, William “Boogie” Roberts (Linda); sister-in-law, Carolyn Roberts; nephews, Scott Roberts and Brian Roberts; nieces, Amy Beaver (Dennis), and Dr. Sara Blakesley (Chris); great nieces and nephews, Chase, Chad and Kayla Beaver, and Clark Roberts. Pallbearers will be Brian Henry, William Smith, Rodney Moon, Dennis Beaver, Ronnie Coleman, and Perry Eppinette.Visitation will be 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Wednesday, June 22, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Rd, Monroe, LA.Memorials may be made to GB Cooley or the Alzheimers Association.
