Patsy Ruth Hall Jolley was born August 1, 1934 in Hornbeak, Tennessee to Wyatt Webb Hall and Eunice Mae Ashley Hall. Wyatt was born in Lake County, TN and Eunice was born in Obion County, TN. She passed January 11, 2021.
Her accomplishments over her 86 years include being a charter member of the College Town Church of Christ in Monroe, LA
She taught children’s bible class for 20+ years at White’s Ferry Road Church of Christ
She also worked with the Golden Sixties Ministry at White’s Ferry Road Church of Christ.
She was active member of the Jackson St. Church of Christ when she died. She went on several medical mission trips to Mexico.
Jerry Batson was an honorary brother to our family.
Pet nicknames for her were “Sarge” as she was an organizer and “Roadrunner” as she was always ready to go. She loved the beach. She traveled to Germany for the birth of her 1st grandchild.
She visited Australia, New Zealand, Maine, Washington State and Oregon, New Mexico and various other states in the US.
Memorial service for Mrs. Patsy Ruth Jolley, 86, of Monroe, LA, will be held at a later date.
She was preceded in death by her husband Randolph “Randy” Jolley.
Survivors include her children, Donna Roper and husband Larry, David Jolley, Toni Benefield and husband Lamar, and Brad Jolley and wife Tedi; nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Warren and Linnie McMaster; and brother John Hall.
Memorials may be made to the Jackson Street Church of Christ or to the American Cancer Society.
