Funeral services for Peggy Williams Buffington, 61, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM Friday August 19, 2016 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Father Job Edathinatt officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Buffington was born October 31, 1954 in Monroe, LA and passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 16, 2016. Mrs. Buffington was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, James Buffington and parents, Harold Eugene and Eddie Rebecca Williams.Survivors include her daughter, Maggie Buffington Sistrunk and husband Thomas; grandchildren, Madeline and Caitlyn Sistrunk and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loved ones. Pallbearers will be Jay White, Benji Buffington, Whit Buffington, Charles Sawyer, and Matthew Rainwater.
