No one could light up a room like Reba Jo Hester Wright. Her eyes were as bright as her beautiful smile. To know Reba was to know a fun time and a good laugh. She would get so tickled you couldn’t help but laugh with her even when you had no clue what she was laughing about! She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Born April 03, 1943, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, Reba was the definition of a “sweet Georgia peach.” She possessed a sassy southern elegance with a sweet Georgian drawl that followed her throughout her life. Her love of adventure led her to Louisiana where she taught her three children all she knew about living.

Reba loved the outdoors. She enjoyed watching hummingbirds, hunting, fishing, socializing with friends and family by the river, and was a faithful fan of the New Orleans Saints. She always enjoyed cooking for friends and family no matter the occasion. Reba loved Jesus, her children, grandchildren, family, and friends fiercely. She woke up in the presence of Jesus on April 16, 2022 and is walking streets of gold with the ones her heart missed the most. Death did not extinguish her light; she left a spark in all our hearts.

Reba is preceded in death by her precious daughter, Gina Cox McMillan; her beloved sister, Sandra Westberry; her sweet grandson, Nic Dunavant; and the love of her life, Sonny Wright.

Left to cherish her memory include her sons Mike Cox (Cindy) and Greg Cox (Robin); Grandchildren - Colt Griffin (Kim), Ashley Griffin, Clint Griffin (Ally), Carlin Cox (Jordan), Cameron Cox, Tessa White (Scott), Craig Edwards (Sarah), Austin Cox and Andrew Cox; Great-grandchildren - Connor & Chloe Griffin, Hudson & Holden White, Cody & Maddie Payne, and August Cox; Brother, Ken Wilcox and Sister, Linda (Larry) Feld.

The family would like to thank Joe Dillard who was a very special friend to Reba and took great care of her beloved Lexi.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
