Funeral services for Ronald Dean Burkett, 66, of West Monroe will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday August 28, 2008 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home with Rev. Huey Diffy officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Burkett served in the Army National Guard. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He later retired as a Cement Finisher.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Edna Burkett; daughters, Janice Cloud and husband Dave and Teresa Green and husband Destin; three grandchildren, April Boyte, Colten Green, and Dawson Cloud; and one great grandchild, Georgia Grace Boyte.
Pallbearers will be Paul Martin, Dane Driskell, Casey Stevens, Jerry Boudreaux, Brian Giger, and Kevin Carr. Honorary pallbearer will be Tracy Martin.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
