Ronald Guiterrez

Ronald “Ronnie” Gene Guiterrez was born October 12, 1960 in Monroe, Louisiana and died at his home on March 31, 2018.

Ronnie was a graduate of Calhoun High School. You could always find him in the woods hunting for that big buck or around a pond of water casting for his next big catch. He enjoyed sharing these hobbies with his children, grandchildren & nephews. You could always expect to hear one of his tall tales about a monster buck he shot or a prize bass that he caught.

Ronnie is survived by his children: Ronald Gene “Bo” Guiterrez, Jr. (Erica Tyson) and Velva Joyce “Joy” Guiterrez (Greg Swope). His grandchildren: Drew Broussard, Kaylyn Broussard, Brooklyn Lancon, Gracelynn Carraway and Kaitlyn Guiterrez. Also left to cherish his memories are his dad, Daniel Pereira (Jeannie Davidson), siblings, Rhoda Winstead, Vincent Guiterrez III (Jill), Angel Rieger (Bubba) and Lisa Smith (Joe). He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews, aunts & uncles and a host of extended family members.

Ronnie joins those who have also departed from this life: his wife, Connie Guiterrez, mother, Joyce Pereira, father, Vincent Guiterrez, Jr, brother-in-law, Tom Winstead as well as his maternal & paternal grandparents.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00PM on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at First Baptist Church Calhoun Massey Building. All family & friends are invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to cover expenses incurred from this unexpected loss.
