Funeral services for Mr. Roy Lord, 88, auto body specialist of Oak Ridge, LA, will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at 2:00 PM at he Mulhearn Chapel in Rayville, LA with the Rev. Daniel Parker officiating. In terment will follow in Buie Cemetery near Mangham, LA.
Mr. Lord was born December 12, 1920 in Baskin, LA and passed away at the Richardson Medical Center in Rayville, LA on June 29, 2009.
He is precede in death by his parent-Louie and Amie Williams Lord and wife-Bessie Cheek Lord.
He is survived by Dale Lord and wife – Beverly of Rayville, Janis Lord Perry and husband – Kent of Monroe, LA., numerous nieces and nephews, and brother-in-law R. L. Thornsberry of Shreveport, LA.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Adcock, Shane Lord, Richard Thornsberry, Kent Perry, Tommy Lord, and David Boone.
