A memorial service to honor the life of Mrs. Ruth “Nana” Vestal will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 4, 2019, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with Pastor Wayne Pitts officiating.
Ruth was born on December 30, 1939 and passed from this life on August 31, 2019, at the age of 79.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved watching Westerns, reading, eating at Red Lobster, watching Soap Operas and traveling with her IBEW family.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, William and Eula Coates; husband, Lyndon Vestal; daughter, Connie Vestal; daughter-in-law, Debbie Vestal; and great grandson, Trent Weaver.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kathy Meredith; sons, Donnie and wife Julia, Roger and wife Olga, Lynn, and David Vestal; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
