Graveside Services for Miss Sandra Jeanette Royals, were held 1:30 PM Sunday, July 3, 2022, at Lynn Cemetery in Archibald, LA. Arrangements are under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Rayville.

Sandra was born on February 25, 1948 and passed away at the age of 74 on July 1, 2022 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home with her adoring brothers Johnny and Jimmy at her bedside. Sandra was the firstborn and only daughter of Kirby F.D. Royals and Ruth Graham Royals. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Kirby Albert Royals.

Survived by: brother, sister in law and niece, Johnny, Penny and Ashley Royals who were her primary caregivers throughout her lengthy illness; brother, Jimmy Royals and sister in law Betty Jane Royals; nieces and nephews, Jimmy (Bruiser) Davis and wife Vicki, Rachel Strickland and husband Bryan, Amanda Lozell, April Royals, Kristy Mills and husband James, Jamie Lowery and husband Jamey; great nieces and nephews, Bruce Royals and wife Joney, Gracie Littleton, Tyler Davis, Taylor Johns, Chelsea Jobe and husband Josh, Chris Mills, Clay Mills, Abbie Walner and husband Matthew, Katie Lowery, Emma Lowery, Easton and Everly Lozell; great-great nieces and nephews, Paislee, Tucker, Wyatt and Adalynn Royals, Carston Jobe and Levi Wallner; best friends/cousins, Libby Schooler and Kaye Buie whom she had many fun adventures with; as well as special cousins, Betty Magee Jerge, Jerry and Debbie Spencer and Helen Ray Little; very special family friends, Claudia Craft Huthnance, Charlotte Parham Craft and husband Baron, and Carmen Parham Butts and husband Mike; and lastly, two special fur babies that truly adored their “Aunt Sandra”, Pepper Schooler and Maggie Royals.

Sandra was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, friend and caregiver. She provided around-the-clock care for her parents throughout both of their lengthy illnesses until their deaths as well as caring for her brothers following surgeries and illnesses. Sandra blessed many people through her acts of service to those in need and to those she loved. She was always willing to cook a meal that would feed an army and enough sweet tea to serve that army too. She had the privilege of babysitting many children in the Mangham community for over 20 years. She was “Aunt Sandra” to each and every child that knew her warm heart and loving arms. Her nieces and nephews were especially blessed and highly favored to have been spoiled (and disciplined) by “ChiChi”, as she was so affectionately called. Her memory will live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be missed beyond what words can adequately describe. We know without a doubt that she entered Heaven with a healed body and perfect eyesight, being welcomed by the loved ones gone before her shouting, “here she comes!”

The family would like to thank the staff of both Caring Hands Hospice and Colonial Manor for their concern, support and tender care during the last 7 months. We are so grateful for Ms. Chaletta, Danni, Haley, Betty, Tamika, Demya, Mary, Carline, Ms. Pam, Kathy, Mr. Allen and Mrs. Chris at Colonial Manor for their compassion and attention given to our family during this difficult time. We are so appreciative of the guidance and compassion provided by Candy, Tasha, Cheryl, Shay and Angie from Caring Hands Hospice in our time of need.
