Sarah Josephine Parham

Funeral service for Mrs. Sarah Mefford Parham, 97, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 1:00PM Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Lakeshore Baptist Church with Rev. William Smith officiating. Graveside service will be held 3:30PM Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Olla Cemetery in Olla, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe. Visitation will be from 12:00PM until service time at Lakeshore Baptist Church, 308 Lakeshore Drive, Monroe, LA.

Sarah was a member of Lakeshore Baptist Church and formerly Collage Place Baptist Church for 56 years. She was born in Huntington, West Virginia to Elizabeth McKinley and George Mefford. Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, Reggie Parham; a daughter, Marylou; both parents, three brothers and five sisters.

Survivors include her sons, Reggie and Michael Parham; daughter, Martha Rodgers and husband Tim; grandchildren, Eddie and Martha Parham, Angie and Doug Gore, Cindi and Mike Henagan, Todd and Amy Ward, Rhonda Cyr, Tara Parham, and Renee and Stuart Shaw; seventeen great grandchildren; and thirteen great- great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be: Eddie Parham, Mike Henagan, Doug Gore, Stuart Shaw, Derek Gore, Alex Henagan.
