Scott was born August 10, 1954, in Monroe, Louisiana and passed away unexpectedly on June 15, 2021, in Jackson, Mississippi, surrounded by his family.

He was a lifelong member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

Scott is preceded in death by his parents, Courtney and Patty McKaskle, his In-Laws, Ervin and Margie Miller, and a brother-in-law, Larry Rutledge.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Suzanne Miller McKaskle. His children, Jessica Lewis and husband Rickey of Haughton, LA, Josh McKaskle and wife Amanda of Calhoun, LA., and Jordy McKaskle and wife Jessika of Marlow, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Savannah Feeback, Whit McKaskle, Jesse Feeback, Piper McKaskle, Haddon McKaskle, Elanor Cate, Everett Cate, Gabby Lewis, and Molly Lewis.; sister, Janet Rutledge, brother, Keith McKaskle and wife Pam, and brother-in-law, Ervin Miller. He leaves behind numerous Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, and Cousins.

Sometimes he thought Suzanne’s Indiana family was his, and not just hers.

He also leaves his canine companion, Jasmine. He loved to play outside and roll on the ground with her.

Scott was a carpenter by trade, but it was so much more... He took great pride in the numerous homes he and Suzanne built from the ground up. He was a skilled, multi-generational carpenter, learning his skills from his dad and grandfather. He could build anything. There will be pieces of his carpentry genius in his home and the home of his children, from the multiple times he has built things for them.

He loved to travel with Suzanne, mainly cruising. He was happiest on a ship. He loved to go camping in his RV and take the grandkids boat riding.

Suzanne was the love of his life and his best friend. His children and grandchildren were loved and adored by him. He leaves a legacy of what it means to be a Christian husband, father, and grandfather. He will be missed forever.

Scott was a patriotic American and many of his travels included numerous historical landmarks.
