Shelia Elizabeth Wyatt Massey

Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Mrs. Shelia Elizabeth Wyatt Massey, 76, of Calhoun, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 12, 2019, at First Baptist Church Calhoun, LA, with Rev. Neil Everett and Dr. Robert “Bob” Holloway officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Massey was born on August 17, 1942 and passed away on January 9, 2019. Shelia was united in holy matrimony to Steve William Wyatt Jr., and this union was blessed to have four children, ten grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Steve William Wyatt Jr. preceded her in death. On June 5, 2004, she was united in holy matrimony to Reverend William A. “Dub” Massey who also preceded her in death.
Shelia was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Calhoun, where she served as a faithful member. As a result of her generous spirit to the church and community, pleasant personality, and being so active in many activities, she was loved by her family and many friends. She was a devoted Christian and will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. Our mother would not want this to be a sad day in our lives for when she went safely into the arms of our Lord she quietly departed.
Survivors include her daughters, Susan R. Wyatt, Kelly S. Ramsey and husband, Warren, and Stephanie Wyatt Nance; son, Steve William Wyatt, III and wife, Davina; grandchildren, Keith Taylor Jr., Michael Ramsey, Matthew Ramsey, Randa Coker, Billy Nance Jr., Steve Wyatt IV, Samuel Wyatt, Catherine Wyatt, Brooke Wyatt, and Abigail Wyatt, and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Keith Taylor, Jr., Michael Ramsey, Matthew Ramsey, Billy Nance, Jr., John Smith, Brent Smith, Terry Causey and William Causey.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 P.M. until service time on Saturday at First Baptist Church Calhoun, LA.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
