Funeral Services for Mr. Sidney L. “Sid” Reynolds, 59, of Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 25, 2009 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe with Rev. James Gardner officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Reynolds passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2009, after a brief illness. He was the General Manager for Piccadilly Cafeteria in Alexandria, LA. He retired as a Sergeant 1st Class from the U.S. Army, after serving twenty years. He was preceded in death by his father, Stark Levi Reynolds, Jr.; two brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife of thirty-nine years, Mary K. Reynolds; son, Sidney L. “Butch” Reynolds, II; daughter, Kimberly Reynolds; five grandchildren, Robert Levi Reynolds, Jason Michael Reynolds, Rebecca Faye Reynolds, Jacob Gavin Stanga, and Shelby Sarah Margaret Stanga; mother, Lulu Reynolds; six brothers; and two sisters.
Pallbearers will be Jay Chauvin, Don Cranford, Daniel Noell, Joseph Lanclos, Freddie Kozlowski, and Gary Thompson.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday, April 24, 2009 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
