Steven Dewitt Adcock

Memorial services for Mr. Steven Dewitt “Too Tall” Adcock, 41, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 18, 2021, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, LA with Bro. Ronnie Watkins officiating.

Mr. Adcock was born January 22, 1980, in Monroe, LA, and passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021, at his home. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Monroe, LA.

Born and raised in Monroe, LA, Steven was full of life and had a big heart. He loved helping others and would give them anything he had. In 2005, Steven fought for his life, survived and shared his testimony with everyone he came into contact with. Although doctors stated that he would never walk, talk, etc., God and Steven proved them wrong. He continued to live the best life he could even after his accident. He kept everybody on their toes and laughing. He always tried to keep a smile on his face even in the moments he hated not having his full memory. He touched so many lives.

Mr. Adcock was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Pat Adcock; paternal grandparents, Clyde and Sarah Jones Fatheree; and grandfather, Vernon Jones.

Survivors include his parents, Ricky and Patricia Diann Jones of Monroe, LA; sisters, Leslie Parker of West Monroe, LA, Ricki Diann Jones of Monroe, LA; brother, Josh Jones of West Monroe, LA; special cousin, James “Butch” Adcock, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles who will miss him dearly.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joey Lucien, Josh Carter, and Waylon Jones.
