Memorial services for Terry Edward Allbritton, age 55, of Monroe, La will be held 1:00 pm Saturday January 16th at Mulhearn Funeral Home on Hwy. 165, Monroe. La.
Terry was born on October 7, 1954 in Hot Springs, Ar. to Billy Gene Allbritton and Daisy Ritchey Allbritton. He graduated from Wossman High School as a National Merit Scholar in 1972. He then attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, earning a bachelor’s of science degree. He then furthered his education by receiving his juris doctorate from Tulane Law School. After passing the bar he began a career as a Tulane law professor while also working on civil rights cases.
Mr. Allbritton was preceded in death by his father, Billy G. Allbritton; step-father, Joe A. McHenry and brother-in-law, Robert C. Walters.
Mr. Allbritton leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Daisy McHenry; sister, Karen Walters; brother, Michael Allbritton and sister, Beth Wilson; step-children, Meg Rathel and Doug Villavaso; two grandchildren and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
