Funeral services for Miss Theresa Mary Socha, 64, of West Monroe, will be held at 9:00 AM Monday, July 27, 2009, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Rev. Sebastian Kallarackal officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paschal’s Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Miss Socha passed away Thursday, July 23, 2009, at LSU Hospital in Shreveport, LA. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima and Monsignor Vandegaer Kaycee Auxiliary. Theresa was a partner and cake decorator at Bakeryland with her brothers for 25 years.
Her parents, Leo and Charlotte Socha; brother, Leo Socha; and nephew, Jeff Socha preceded her in death.
Survivors include her brother, Joseph Socha and wife Janice; sister-in-law, Emily Socha; nieces and nephews, Frances and Shane Bevel, Stanley and Aimee Socha, Joe and Kristy Socha, Annette and Mark Corbin, Debbie and Brian McGee, Kathy and Karl Schaff, Lynn Moore, and Scott Socha; eight great nieces, and nine great nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a Vigil Wake Service at 6:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
