Funeral services for Thomas Earl (Tommy) Wink, 71, of West Monroe will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday December 26, 2008 at Ouachita Baptist Church in West Monroe with Rev. Milton Pray and Randy Wilbanks officiating. Burial will follow at Lapine Methodist Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.

Mr. Wink was born November 6, 1937 and passed away December 22, 2008 at his residence in West Monroe. He retired from Riverwood International as a very well respected supervisor after 42 years. Mr. Wink was a member of the Masonic Lodge 419 and was a Shriner. He loved to talk and never met a stranger. Tommy loved his children and grandchildren.

Tommy will be greatly missed by his best friend and long time loving companion, Dedria Jones and her family, Kimberly and Thomas Chevallier, Sterling MaGee, Ethan Chevallier and Richard Womack. Tommy and Dedria spent 19 memorable years together sharing the things they most enjoyed like traveling, nature watching, eating, talking, laughing, being with family and friends and just hanging out. Dedria loved and cared for Tommy and his Mother, Ethel, and is greatly appreciated by the family.

Mr. Wink was preceded in death by his parents, Parker and Ethel Schanks Wink; and by Dedria’s parents who he considered his in-laws, E.L. and Ollie Womack

Survivors include his children and their spouses: Danny and Rebecca Wink, Sheila and Robert Williams, Tammy and Donald Mims, Marvin and Shelly Wink, and their mother, Vivian Bennett. He was blessed with ten grandchildren, Dana and Dr. Seth Bilello, Daniel and Montez Wink, Joshua Wink, Christy and Amber Williams, Christopher Mims, Chaz, Natalie, Marly and Thomas Wink; and great granddaughter, Cadence Wink.

Pallbearers will be, Daniel, Joshua, Chaz, and Thomas Wink, Christopher Mims, Sterling MaGee, Dr. Seth Bilello, Robert Williams, Donald Mims, and Thomas Chevallier, Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers will be his co-workers of Plant 31 at Riverwood International Paper Mill, Roger Herrington, and Pete Hayden.

Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until service time Friday at Ouachita Baptist Church in West Monroe.
