Funeral Services for Tod Allbritton, 50, of Albany, LA formerly of West Monroe, LA will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, May 7, 2016 at McClendon Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Billy Taylor and Rev. Marvin Wink officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. Tod was surrounded by his loving family when he was called home on May 3, 2016 after a 12 year strong and courageous battle with colon cancer. He was a very kind man who was very active in his community in many ways, such as serving as a committee member and being a football, baseball, softball coach for the AYA. Tod was proud business owner of the UPS Store in Denham Springs, Louisiana, an animal lover and a family man that will be missed greatly by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Allbritton of West Monroe; grandparents, Jim McClung, Sue Johnston and Earl Allbritton all of West Monroe; and father-in-law, Jimmy Hardy of Port Barre; as well as an uncle, Gerald Heath.Tod is survived by his wife, Stacy; daughters, Abby and Cori; and son Tyler, all of his home. He is also survived by his parents, Karen and Neal Heath of West Monroe; mother-in-law, Annette Hardy; grandmother, Gloria Allbritton of West Monroe; brothers-in-law, Gary Hardy and Wendal Hardy of Port Barre; nieces, Hanna Soilleau and husband Jay, and Courtney Hardy; aunts and uncles, Donna and Ralph Whitaker, Peggy and Danny Malcomb, Sandy McClung, Mike and Lisette McClung, Janet McClung, Ronnie and Linda June Allbritton, Royce and Beverly Allbritton, Steve and Linda Allbritton, Sharon and Jimmy Boyette, Kathy and Scott Phillips, Penny and Ricky Waggoner, Gary and Lynn Heath, Arabella Heath, Rickey and Freida Bastoe, Bruce and Kim Heath; 27 cousins, and a host of friends and ball players.Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Saturday at McClendon Baptist Church in West Monroe. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, Albany Football Program and St. Margaret Catholic Church.
