Funeral services for Mrs. V. Erline Bowker, 84, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 3, 2009 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home with Rev. Wesley Pittman officiating. Interment will follow in the Pavilion of Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Mrs. Bowker was born April 30, 1925 and passed away June 28, 2009. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bowker and sister, Maxine Paschal.
Survivors include her brother, John T. Fletcher and wife Lillie; nieces, Vicki C. Douroux and husband Albert, Gayle Arceneaux, and Cheryl Guillory and husband Michael; great nieces, Dawn D. Mahoney, Lauren Morton, Sarah Tabb, Jessica Arceneaux, Madysen Guillory, and Hannah Guillory; great nephews, Albert Wade Douroux, Eli Arceneaux, and Andrew Guillory; four great great nieces and two great great nephews.
Pallbearers will be Albert C. Douroux, A. Wade Douroux, James R. “Buddy” Fletcher, Auther Paschal, Mark Sanders, and Robert Moore.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time Friday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
