Funeral services for Velma Lee Daingerfield, 95 of Monroe, LA, (formerly of Lexington, Kentucky) will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday February 9, 2017 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, LA. Interment will be in the Newton Cemetery in Delhi, LA.

Mrs. Daingerfield was born February 28, 1921 in Delhi, LA, and passed away on February 7, 2017 in Monroe, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband Keene Daingerfield and ten siblings, Walter Walters, Gloria Dean Colvin, Pauline Dearman, Ella Gibson Edwards, Estelle Upton, Ray Newton, Henry Newton, Pete Newton, Jake Newton and Billy Newton.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews

Pallbearers will be her nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday February 8, 2017 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA.
