Memorial services for Vera Boudreaux Smart, 92, of Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with MSGR Edmund Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Smart was born on January 20, 1918 and passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010. She was a very devout Christian and a longtime member of Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Angele Boudreaux; husband, Lexie D. Smart; and son, Marvin L. Smart.
Survivors include her granddaughter, Lori S. Peters; her daughter, Mollie Peters; grandson, Charles L. Smart and wife Lori; their children, Evan and Emma Smart; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
She leaves behind many good friends at McKeen Plaza and The Oaks Nursing Home, and a special friend, Dianne Poe and family. Thank you for all your love and support.
