Funeral service for Virginia R. Berry, 70, of West Monroe will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 26, 2008 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Rev. Woody Rimes and Rev. Everrette Geis officiating. Special speaker will be Mickey Steward. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Berry was born July 12, 1937 in Winnsboro, Louisiana and passed away on May 23, 2008. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. Virginia always had a beautiful smile and a kind word for everyone. In her eyes every cloud had a silver lining. Mrs. Berry was loved by all and will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
Virginia is now rejoicing in heaven with her husband, Jimmy Berry; daughter, Wendy Kathleen Berry; and parents, Ned and Ruth Russell.
Survivors include daughter, Tracey Peters and husband Gary; son, Tobyn Berry; grandchildren, Cody Allen, Brad Peters, and Kayln Peters; brother, Gerry Russell; and sister in-laws, Dorothy Lambert and Ernie Cline.
Pallbearers include Duane Russell, Clay Harris, Randy Lambert, James Anderson, Ernie Berry, and Terry Berry.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Sunday, May 25, 2008 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
