Graveside services for Ms. Virginia Ruth Hamilton, 56, of West Monroe will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 26, 2009 in the Pavilion of Hasley Cemetery, West Monroe with Rev. Jon Tellifero officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Ms. Hamilton was born December 6, 1952 to the late Ike and Shirley Hamilton of West Monroe and passed away April 24, 2009 in West Monroe, LA.
She is survived by her sister, Sara H. Golson and husband Billy R. of West Monroe; brother, I. H. (Hank) Hamilton of West Monroe; sister-in-law, Tracy Smith Hamilton of West Monroe; nieces, Lendon Golson Noel and husband Ashton of Mandeville, LA, Beth Golson of Houston, TX; Heather Hamilton Finely and husband Bart of West Monroe, Ann Hamilton Reeves and husband David of West Monroe; and Becky Hamilton of West Monroe; nephew, Hank Hamilton of Colorado; three great nieces and four great nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ashton Noel, Bart Finley, David Reeves, Jacob Armstrong, Chris Smith, and Ronnie Wisenor.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mickey Cook, Warren Daniel MD, Kelton Bacon, Herman McGuire, and Clifford Benson.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
The family would like to express it’s love and appreciation to Roma Kidd and staff of the Association of Retarded Citizens of Ouachita (ARCO). With sincere gratitude for the devotion of Betty Ellerman, Theresa McMillan, Brenda McKnight, Elizabeth Reddick, Lynn Henderson, Tina Smith, and Mary Wyatt.
