Funeral services for Mrs. Wilda “Sweetheart” Phillips, 84, of West Monroe will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, April 23, 2009 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Charles Martindale officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Mrs. Phillips died April 21, 2009 at the Ridgecrest Nursing Home in West Monroe. She was a member of First Baptist Church in West Monroe and the Tuesday Morning Bowling League. Mrs. Phillips is preceded in death by her husband Hilton Phillips; sisters, Margie Foreman and Polly Harding.
She is survived by her son, Hilton Phillips and wife Mary Jo; daughter, Sandy Frazier and husband Raymond; brother, George “Pete” Butler and wife Violet; grandchildren, Doug Frazier and wife Sarah, Tammy Skinner and husband Stephen, John Michael Frazier and wife Keri, and Todd Phillips and wife MeLissa; and great grandchildren, Jamie Skinner, Wesleigh Anna Skinner, Bailey Frazier, Shiloh Phillips, Taylor Frazier, Dylan Frazier, and Aubrie Phillips.
Pallbearers will be Doug Frazier, John Michael Frazier, Todd Phillips, Stephen Skinner, Jamie Skinner and Lonnie Shows
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time Thursday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
