Funeral services celebrating the life of Agnes Woods Evans, 86, of West Monroe, Louisiana will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 17, 2026, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home with Alex Devillier officiating. Interment will follow immediately after at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

The visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service.

Mrs. Agnes was born on September 3, 1939, in Flint, Michigan and passed away on April 13, 2026, in Alexandria, Louisiana.

She was a loving mother of five girls all of whom she loved so deeply. Our mother always worked hard to provide for us and made sure we had the best of everything. Agnes was also a member of Swartz Assembly of God.

Agnes is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Evans; and daughter, Patricia Shaffer.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her daughters, Lynn Telano, Carlon Fowler and husband, Karl, Teresa Cullum, and Lisa Howington; mother, Mary Ethel Tackett-Medders; brother, Rueben W. Medders; as well as a host of friends and loved ones.

The pallbearers will be Marvin Earl Howington, Lisa Howington, Teresa Cullum, and Darren Bailey.
