Funeral services for Alisha Geraldine Purvis, 27, of Swartz, LA, will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, February 17, 2019, in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Job Edathinatt Scaria officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, Monroe. Visitation will 12:00PM until 2:00PM Sunday, Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA.

Alisha was born January 21, 1992, in Monroe, LA, and passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019, in West Monroe, LA.

Alisha was a children’s teacher at North Point Methodist Church.

Alisha is preceded in death by her mother, Rosemary Shoemaker Manchester; father, David Jay Purvis, Sr.; stepfather, Dale Manchester, Sr.; maternal grandmother, Geraldine Shoemaker; paternal grandmother, Christina Purvis; paternal grandfather, Leo Jay Purvis.

Survivors include husband, Brandon Lewis; daughter, Makynli Raine Lewis; son, Ryder Blaze Lewis; son, John Deere Lewis; daughter, Azleah Jade Lewis; brother, Edward Leo Purvis and fiancée, Stephanie; brother, David Jay Purvis, Jr. and fiancée, Heather; sister, Crystle Rose Kulp and husband Kyle Sr.; sister, Mickey Anne Marie Manchester and fiancé Justin; grandfather, Edward L. Shoemaker; mother-in-law, Candice Lewis; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Robert Shoemaker, Brian Shoemaker, Jr., Daniel Devereux, Jr., Derrick Devereux, Kory Kulp and David Jones. Honorary Pallbearers will be Trey Garcia and Erik Drebber.
