A graveside service for Mr. Andrew Scurria, 74, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA.

Mr. Scurria was born on October 11, 1951, in Vicksburg, MS, and passed away May 9, 2026. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.

Mr. Scurria attended and graduated from Tallulah High School. He also earned a master’s degree from University of Louisiana at Monroe.

Mr. Scurria was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the great outdoors. He loved substitute teaching more than anything.

Mr. Scurria was preceded in death by his parents, Sam J. and Marietta Scurria; brothers, Joseph and Sam, Jr.; sisters, Nancy and Angela; and sister-in-law, Susan Scurria.

Survivors include his brothers, Edward, Gerald and John; sister-in-law, Krista Scurria; nephew, Joshua Scurria; and niece, Anna Rose Scurria.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ed Dinger, Danny Lenard, Bill Wright, Joey Marsala, Kevin Edwards, and Quang Duong.
