Angela L. Calhoun

Angela L. Calhoun was born on April 14, 1970, in Bastrop, LA and passed away on July 17, 2023, at her home in Monroe, LA.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was a strong mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren who adored her. She never took credit for being the role model to her family.

Angela was preceded in death by her grandparents, Luther and Lela Jordan, and Lorena and Joseph Benson; and her daughter, Kayla Phebeanna Jordan.

Angela is survived by her sons, Jeremy Jordan and wife Shadoe, Jason McCowin; grandchildren, Jeremy Jr., Riley, Kelsey, Serenity, and David; mother, Betty Connor and Husband Olaus; father, Bennie Jordan; brothers, Chris Jordan and wife Vicky, and David Jordan; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
