The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Anna Janette Daigle, 82, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 6, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Interment will follow in the St. Paschal Catholic Church Cemetery in West Monroe, LA.Anna Janette Daigle went home to be with her Lord on Friday, March 4, 2016. She passed peacefully from this life to the next at her home in West Monroe, LA, surrounded by those who love her.Janette was born February 1, 1934 in West Monroe, LA and devoted her entire life to Christian Service. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Stephen Jules Daigle and Anna Viola Daigle of West Monroe; her brother, Dr. Stephen Jules Daigle, Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA; and nephew, Bruce Alan Daigle.Survivors include her sister, Rose Daigle, of Ruston, LA; her niece, Sharon Daigle Powell and husband, Jerry; one great niece, and one great nephew.Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charitable organization in honor of Janette’s life of devotion to others.The family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses and CNA’s at Louisiana Hospice and Palliative Care for the compassion, support, and excellent care they provided during Janette’s illness. We are also grateful for the support shown by Janette’s closet friends who surrounded her and her family for weeks, helping in countless ways.
