Anthony "Tony" Frank Ticheli

Funeral services celebrating the life of Anthony “Tony” Ticheli, 81, of Monroe, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe with Father James Dominic officiating. Interment will follow immediately after at St. Matthews Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.

Tony was born on Jan 2, 1944, in Monroe, LA. He lived a life full of passion for family, his Catholic faith, his never-ending love for our LSU Tigers & the New Orleans Saints. He will be remembered for his western wear- you would hardly ever find Tony without his cowboy hat, belt buckle and cowboy boots. Tony was well-renowned for his ability to use a bull whip and for his roping skills and he would gladly demonstrate the process for anyone. He also had a great love of horses and riding them. Tony also worked for many years with the State of Louisiana Highway Department.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank Paul Ticheli and Sarah Tuminello Ticheli.

Tony is survived by his sisters Mona Lee Alderman and husband Pete Alderman and Connie Jungina and deceased husband Frank Jungina; multiple nieces and nephews – Frank Jungina Jr., Greg Jungina Vincent and wife Suzy Vincent, David Jungina and wife Laura Jungina, Jeff Alderman and wife Julia Alderman, Sara Tanner and husband Ronnie Tanner and Theresa Franklin and husband Terry Franklin along with many great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: David Jungina, Jared Jungina Vincent, Matthew Walker, Isaac Jungina, Terry Franklin & Harvey Sweet.

Honorary Pallbearers: Jeff Alderman, Frankie Sweet, Scott Tanner, Greyson Vincent, Maddox Walker & Paul Ledford.
