Aubry Wayne Griggs, age 88, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026. He was born on September 10, 1937 to Byron “Dickie” Griggs and Louise Griggs.

Aubry was married to his wife, Patsy, on September 10, 1956. Their marriage spanned nearly seven decades and stood as a testament to devotion, commitment, and enduring love. Together, they raised four children.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jerry and Tommy; a son, Tommy Wayne Griggs; and a daughter, Janice Lynn Sturgis. He is survived by his beloved wife, Patsy; two daughters, Valerie Walker and Billie Cannon; son in law, Jimmy Walker; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dickie and Jo Worthy; and a large family of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and cousins.

Aubry had a lifelong love for reading and found great happiness in camping and traveling, especially when shared with family and friends. He cherished time spent making memories while enjoying the outdoors.

The visitation will be held on 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 P.M., Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, Louisiana.
