Bennett Ellis Tarver

A graveside service for Mr. Bennett Ellis Tarver, 59, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Mulhearn Memorial Park with Rev. Everett Aaron officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe.

Bennett attended River Oaks School through high school and attended Louisiana Tech University, where he worked at the Louisiana Tech Nuclear Center. Later he worked various technical and IT service jobs. He last worked for the Association of Evangelical Gospel Assemblies (AEGA). He never married and lost his mother, Annie Gabriella Ellis Tarver, on August 2, 1996, and his father, Jimmy Wright Tarver, on April 29, 2006. Bennett died of complications of a fall accident which occurred in March of 2022.

There are no family survivors, but he is survived by many friends.

Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home and Family Ministries in Monroe.
