Bessie Hayden

Memorial services for Mrs. Bessie Stephens Hayden, 90, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 19, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA, with Rev. Betty Swanson and Pastor Ben McGehee officiating.

Bessie was active in her church, Lea Joyner Methodist Church, for many years.

Bessie was preceded in death by her husband of over 65 years, Nolen Hayden; son, Wayne Hayden; grandson, Daryl Arnold; and great grandson, Aiden Dyson.

She is survived by three daughters and one son, Peggy Hayden Arnold and her husband Danny of Winston Salem, NC, Sara Alice Hayden Ray and husband Wayne of Monroe, LA, Barbara Hayden Crosser of Baton Rouge, LA, David Hayden and wife Amy of Arlington, TX; six grandsons; one granddaughter; three great granddaughters; and one great grandson; many nieces, nephews and friends.
