Funeral services celebrating the life of Mrs. Betty Bryan, 90, of Winnsboro, LA will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Magnolia Baptist Church in Winnsboro, LA with Rev. Ron Ferrington, Bro. Richard Kelly and Bro. David Philips officiating. Interment will follow at Harris Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.
Mrs. Bryan was born on March 30, 1935, and passed away at her residence in Winnsboro, LA on December 4, 2025. She was a devoted and loving mother, wife, and grandmother whose gentle spirit touched every life around her. A proud graduate of NLU, she began her career as a teacher, shaping young minds with patience and kindness. In time, she embraced her greatest calling as a full-time wife and mother, pouring her heart into her family with unwavering dedication.
Lovingly known as Nanny Bet, she created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. Her Christian faith was the foundation of her life, guiding her steps and shaping the love she freely gave. She lived her faith quietly and sincerely-through her kindness, her compassion, and the way she treated others with grace. Mrs. Bryan will be remembered for her gentle heart, her unwavering devotion to her family, and the steadfast faith that sustained her throughout her life. Though she will be missed, her love and Christian example will continue guiding her family for generations to come.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Royce C. Bryan; daughter, Linda Kay Bryan, parents, Douglas A. and Rachel M. LaBorde; granddaughter, Brandy Randazzo; brothers-in-law, James (Jabo) Clark, Joe Mondello, Kermit, Jessie, Coyte, and Ray Bryan; sisters-in-law, Jean Taylor, Cathleen Bryan and Eleanor Bryan; and her nephews, Doug Clark and wife, Deevonia and Eddie Ray Bryan.
Survivors include her children, Deborah Renee Hodges (Charlie), Glinda Fay Philips (David), Donna Lanee Kelly (Richard), and Sandra Lynn King (Mark); grandchildren, Chance Hodges (Tessa), Jamie Rogers (Ritchie), Amie Volentine (Lee), Dr. David John Phlips, Jr (Courtney), Luke Philips (Kallie), Charlie Kate Johnson (Colin), Kortnie Scull (Andrew), Kelsey Scriber (Landon), Jessica DeBerry (Skyler), Kristen McDaniel (Hunter), Dr. Tanner King (Kenna), Gracie King, Rachel Rider (Jackson), and Carson King; thirty three great grandchildren; sisters, Elaine Clark and Ann Robbins (WL); sisters-in-law, Shirley Mondello and Mary Pat Bryan; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Lee Volentine, Ritchie Rogers, Dr. David J. Philips, Luke Philips, Colin Johnson, Andrew Scull, Dr. Landon Scriber, Hunter McDaniel, Dr. Tanner King, Jackson Rider, Mabry Hodges, and Braden Clark. Honorary Pallbearers will be Chance Hodges and Skyler DeBerry.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until service time on Saturday at Magnolia Baptist Church.

She believed in the promise of Heaven, and her family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of her Lord and Savior. Her legacy of faith and strength will continue to shine through all who were blessed to know her.
