Betty T. Millwee

Graveside Services for Mrs. Betty T. Millwee, 92, of Monroe, LA, will be 9:00 AM Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Rux officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Millwee was born on May 6, 1931 and passed away on August 6, 2023. She retired in the 80’s from Monroe Mental Health Center. Mrs. Millwee enjoyed playing cards and dominos. She was a board member and on the director’s council for the Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Home. Mrs. Millwee was a member of Graceminster Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Millwee is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Olgie Shipley Tierney; son, Bruce Millwee; and husband, Joseph Millwee.

Survivors include two daughters, Merry M. Thompson (Lamar) and Dena M. Novak; four grandchildren, Cory Thompson (Katie), Kyle Thompson (Lori), Brianna Novak, and Kelsey Novak; and two great-grandchildren, George Thompson and Sibley Thompson.
