A celebration of life for Bill “Pap” Bole, 80, of Richland Parish, Louisiana, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Mulhearn Funeral Home of West Monroe, with Rev. Bob Bole officiating. A visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service.
Mr. Bole was born on May 23, 1943, in Birmingham, Alabama, and peacefully passed away at his residence in Rayville, Louisiana, on February 8, 2024.
Bill was an over the road truck driver for more than forty years. He enjoyed his retirement in the last ten years of his life. He loved the Lord, his family, and serving as a chaplain with the Truck Stop Ministries at Cedar Crest Baptist Church. He enjoyed reading, watching his birds, and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide Football Team.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Kathleen Bole of Birmingham, Alabama; son, Andy Bole; and brother, Glenn Bole.
Left to cherish his memory is his adoring wife of fifty-five years, Beverly Ann Bole; daughters, Sheila Nicodemus and her husband, Jeff, and Brandy Bole; grandchildren, Kele “Buffy” Bole and her husband, Nich, Mitchell Clark and family, Stephen Clark and family, and Hunter Spangler; two great grandchildren; brothers, Bob Bole and his wife, Kim; and Tom Bole and his wife, Lorraine; sister, Betty Beatty and her husband, Tom; lifelong friend, Cecil Hall; and his many beloved nieces and nephews.
Memorials can be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
