Bill Wynn was born on February 21, 1931, in Start, LA, and passed away on April 10, 2026, in Monroe leaving behind a life defined by love, laughter, and unwavering positivity.
Bill proudly served his country as a United States Navy veteran during the Korean War aboard the USS Randolph. After his honorable discharge, he settled in Monroe, where he began his career as a Dictaphone salesman. It was there that he met the love of his life, Virginia Bee. The two shared a beautiful marriage that spanned 54 years.
Bill later became a successful restaurateur, owing several bars over the years before transitioning into his role as a distribution manager at Choice Brands, where he worked until his retirement.
He found his greatest joy spending time with his children, Terri Kay and Greg-whether motorcycle riding, boating, or simply being together. Bill had a deep passion for restoring antique cars and took pride in showcasing them, earning numerous first -place trophies. When he could no longer work on cars, he found joy in riding four wheelers.
Known for his positive spirit and quick sense of humor, Bill was a great story teller and enjoyed sharing his life memories with his grandchildren and his five great grandsons. One of his most cherished qualities was his belief in letting kids be kids-a reflection of his warm and generous heart.
A devout catholic, Bill had a strong and enduring relationship with the Lord that guided him throughout his life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his legacy of laughter, kindness, and love will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Bill was preceded in death by father, Joe Wynn; mother, Nettie May Wynn; wife, Virginia Bee Wynn; sister, Barbara Wynn Powell; and brother, C.H. Ruggs.
