Funeral services celebrating the life of Bobby Glenn Booth, 73, of West Monroe, Louisiana will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, November 2, 2026, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of West Monroe. Interment will follow immediately after at Liberty Grove Church of God Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home.

Bobby was born on August 6, 1953, in West Monroe, Louisiana and passed away peacefully on October 29, 2026, at his residence after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Bobby Booth was a man who found his greatest happiness in life's simple pleasures like the love of his family, the beauty of the outdoors, and the joy of spending time with those he held dear.

Bobby dedicated many years of hard work and service to the United States Army Corps of Engineers, where he worked as a lock and dam operator until his retirement. He took pride in his work and the life he built for his family.

In his younger years, Bobby found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially hunting and fishing. Those were passions that brought him happiness and gave him many memories to cherish. As the years went by, what mattered most was spending time with his family. Whether it was simply hanging out, sharing conversations, laughing, or just being together, those moments were what he treasured most.

Bobby was also a devoted sports fan who loved cheering on his favorite teams: the LSU Tigers, New Orleans Saints, New York Yankees, and Atlanta Braves. Whether celebrating a big win or standing by his teams through a tough loss, his love for sports was something those who knew him will always remember.

For more than a year, Bobby fought with everything he had. He faced his illness with strength, courage, and determination, never giving up the fight. Though cancer may have taken him from us, it will never take away the memories, love, and lasting impact he leaves behind.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Wanda Kay Booth; Stepmom, Genie Mae Booth; daughters, Sonya Batten (Jamie), Stacy Kojdecki (Johnny), and Melissa Brewer; grandchildren, Morgan Smith (Steven), Josiah Kojdecki (Sedar), Melody Kojdecki, Brianna Stricklin, Elijah Kojdecki (Danielle), Malachi Kojdecki, Eleanor Kojdecki, Ethan Stricklin, and Abigail Kojdecki; 6 great grandchildren; as well as a host of family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, F.M. Booth and Johnnie Booth; sister, Charlotte Jean Laws; and granddaughter, Harmony Kojdecki.

The pallbearers will be Jamie Batten, Johnny Kojdecki, Josiah Kojdecki, Elijah Kojdecki, Malachi Kojdecki, and Ethan Stricklin.

The honorary pallbearers will be Bill Wilkerson, Mike McMillon, and Roger Hollis.

Bobby will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
