Bobby Wayne Rabun

Mr. Bobby Wayne Rabun was born on March 11, 1944 in West Monroe, Louisiana and entered heaven’s gates on October 3, 2025.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Rosseau M Rabun and Bertie Turnage Rabun; his brothers, Harold and Marvin Rabun; and his sisters, Mary Francis Hudnall and Joe Rebel Martin.

He is survived by his great-niece, Jami Kay Salter and husband, Patrick, and their children, his two great-great-nephews, Daniel James and Benjamin George.

Bobby loved being around people so he was always VERY early for everything. So much so, the family had a secret rule to give him a later start time just to offset his early arrival.

Bobby, being the youngest of his siblings, was a natural jokester, always picking around. At any given time, he could be caught sticking his tongue out at you or someone else! And that was how you knew he loved you. He had friends wherever he went.

He had a love for newspaper puzzles which he took very seriously. No one was allowed to give answers until everyone had a chance to solve them. He also loved going to the “boat,” anything from Rays PeGe, and Saints football.

Bobby will be missed on this earth, but we are grateful to know he is at rest with his Father.

Family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fair Park Baptist Church Building Fund 4412 Whites Ferry Road West Monroe, LA 71291
