Bonnie Jo Edwards, 87, was born on August 25, 1938, and peacefully passed away on March 7, 2026 with her loved ones by her side. She lived a long life filled with continuous faith and an unwavering love for her family.
Bonnie was a devoted Christian woman who loved the Lord with all her heart. Her faith was the foundation of her life. She attended church every Sunday and carried her beliefs with her each day, showing kindness, strength, and compassion to everyone around her.
She believed strongly in family and in the importance of staying close to those you love. She found her greatest joy when family could gather together, those moments meant everything to her.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Ray Edwards, and her second husband Earl Knotts; her sons, Andy Edwards and Joey Edwards Sr.; and her beloved grandson, Tyler Edwards.
Bonnie is survived by her loving son, Timothy Edwards and his wife Kimberly Edwards; Daughter-in-laws, Melonie Edwards Blaney and Karen Edwards.
She leaves behind a large and cherished family who meant the world to her. Bonnie had many grandchildren who loved her dearly: Michelle King (Keith), Joey Edwards Jr. (Christa), Kristen Edwards, Jeff Edwards, Eric Edwards (Mary Kathryn), Jacquelyn Cain (Christopher), Erin Muranovic (Adi), Benny Baker, John Baker (Jessica), Breanna Guerrero (Josue) and Victoria Edwards. She was also blessed with numerous great-grandchildren who brought joy and pride to her life.
Bonnie’s life was a beautiful example of faith, perseverance, and unconditional love. Her memory and the example she set will live on in the hearts of her family for generations and those who were blessed to know her. Although we all will miss her deeply, we take comfort in knowing she is now at peace and reunited with many loved ones who have gone before her.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7
