Funeral Services for Brian Keith Ward, 59, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 21, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA, with Pastor Steve Idom and Pastor Steve Cripps officiating. Interment will follow in Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, LA.

Brian Keith Ward was born October 6, 1963, at St. Francis Hospital in Monroe, LA and passed away December 17, 2022, at his home in West Monroe, LA. Natalie and Brian married September 16, 2006. They met on a cruise ship going to Mexico. He graduated high school from Twin-Cities Christian Academy. Natalie and Brian made their home in West Monroe, LA.

Brian worked for Brookshires, Nabisco and Lipton before working with Little Debbie for over 25 years. He enjoyed picking on everyone and cracking jokes with anyone he met. He always had one more joke. His favorite hobby was playing golf with his buddies, Richard Guidry and T.J. Primm. They were all very competitive playing golf. Brian also enjoyed deer hunting. He had the best time playing with his grandsons and digging taters.

He was preceded in death by his father, Travis Ward; and brother, Lenard Ward.

Survivors include his wife, Natalie Tarpley Ward; his mother, Elizabeth Ward; sister, Darlene Carter (Bill); daughters, Baillie Ward Johnson (Christopher) and Rebecca Ward Minter (Chase); grandchildren, Rylan, Reese, Rhett, and Revel Minter, and Chapal Johnson; mother-in-law, Florence Burchfield (John); brothers-in-law, Danny Tarpley (Dawn) and Jeff Burchfield (Holly); sister-in-law, Sandy McCormic (Jody); and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephew, relatives, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jody McCormic, Jeff Burchfield, Jackson Burchfield, Daniel Kelly, T.J. Primm, Richard Guidry, David Jowers, and Danny Tarpley.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Lydia Burchfield, Bryce Frazier, Rylan Minter, Reese Minter, Rhett Minter, Revel Minter, and Chapal Johnson.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

The family wishes to thank St. Francis Medical Center and Louisiana Hospice and Palliative Care (Natalie’s coworkers) for the care given to Brian.
